New Haven Regional XC Ticket Info; Boys/Girls This Saturday at Huntington University

2024 IHSAA GIRLS & BOYS NEW HAVEN CROSS COUNTRY REGIONAL DATE: Saturday, October 26, 2024 TIME: 10:30 am – Girls’ Race 11:15 am – Boys’ Race PLACE: Huntington University Cross Country Course, 1151 W 500 N, Huntington, IN 46750 PARKING: Please do not arrive before 8:30 a.m. Teams need to be dropped off at Crestview Middle School. Buses will be told where to park upon arrival. A shuttle will be provided to bring coaches and drivers back to the course if the parking spot is located away from Crestview Middle School and then to take them back to their bus. **Spectators will park in the grass fields on Crestview’s land or the grass fields owned by Parkview. We will have people directing parking for spectators. Spectators will be directed to parking spots either in Crestview’s main lot or in the field across from the parking lot. **Due to the closing of the bridge at SR 9 exit, the main entrance will be using Stults Road to get to Crestview Middle School. This means that traffic will be backed up on US-24W at the light. Please inform your patrons to plan on arriving at least 45 minutes before race time due to the possible delay getting to a parking spot. ADMISSIONS: $10.00. The IHSAA is using digital tickets via Eventlink. Tickets may be purchased prior to the event via Eventlink. Cash option will be available on meet day. Use the link below. Once you purchase your ticket, you will get an email with the link to the ticket that must be shown at the meet to gain entrance: https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=98501&p=152230 Tickets will be accepted starting at 9:00 a.m. Also let your fans know to arrive at least 45 minutes before the race that they want to watch just in case of a line to get into the meet. No Dogs or pets should be brought to the meet unless they are a service animal. FACILITIES: Porta-Jons will be made available. REPORTING Coaches are to check-in at the barn across from the course to pick up their chips and numbers. TIME 8:30 am Course and Check-in opens (boys and girls) SCHEDULE: 9:45 am Coaches meeting at the Finish Line 10:15 am National Anthem 10:15 am Course closes (only the girls are allowed on the course) 10:15 am Girls report to starting line 10:30 am Start Girls’ Race 11:00 am Boys report to the starting line 11:15 am Start Boys’ Race 12:00 pm Awards Ceremony at the awards platform CONCESSIONS: There will be some food trucks on location. ADVANCEMENT: The first five (5) qualifying teams and the first fifteen (15) individuals that finish from non-advancing teams shall advance to the State Meet in Terre Haute. AWARDS: An awards ceremony will be held at the awards podium near the finish line (approximately 15-20 minutes after the last race has finished). Coaches remind your runners that no hats or sunglasses are to be worn during the awards presentation. Boys’ coaches have your runners hold off on any cool down runs until after the awards ceremony. RESULTS: Results will also be posted in their entirety on www.crossroadstiming.com after the awards ceremonies and possibly emailed out to each coach later on Saturday.
