The Wapahani Boys Basketball Team lost at the Michigan City 2A Semi-State on Saturday Morning to the Gary Cougars by a score of 61-59. The Wapahani Cheerleaders, BB Team, Band, and Crowd will be forever remembered in Michigan City as our WHS School Spirit was loud and proud. With the loss, the Raider Boys finished 26-2 overall and completed another impressive season. The winning season was the WHS Boys Basketball Program's 18th straight winning campaign. The 2024-2025 Boys Basketball Team won the 2025 MEC Title, 2025 DCAA Boys Basketball Championship, the IHSAA Blackford Sectional Title, the IHSAA Lapel Regional and continued the Boys Basketball Team HOME winning streak of 30 straight over a 3 year span. The Wapahani Seniors completed their 4 year record with the State of Indiana's most wins and best winning percentage at 96-12 overall (88.9%). Go Raiders.
